Multiplier Event in Nicosia, Cyprus – organized by Cyprus Academy of Local Government

On May 3, 2023, the multiplier event of the project “Building Better” was successfully implemented in Cyprus by the Cyprus Academy of Local Government. The aim of the event was to inform and involve the stakeholders of Cyprus in the project.

During the event, the aim and objectives of the project were presented. Also, the main two outputs of the project were introduced: the Webinar and the Online Portal of Cooperation. A live demonstration of the “Building Better” website and its outputs took place. The presenter explained how to register and log in on the Webinar. Each module of the Webinar was presented in order to help the attendants explore its content, structure and learning objectives. Regarding the second output of the project, the Online Portal of Cooperation, information about the main purpose of the portal and what has been achieved so far was provided. An explanation on how to register and join the Online Portal of Cooperation was provided. All the participants were informed that this output would be available in English and all partners’ national languages by the end of May 2023.

The event was implemented at the urban planning department of Cyprus, from 10:00 to 11:30 am. The participants were mainly representatives from various local communities in Cyprus since policy makers are considered as a significant target group and stakeholders of the project.

The participants of the event were impressed by the outputs of the project and some of them highlighted the importance of creating innovative and inspiring projects, like “Building Better” with the aim of offering a better future for all young people and stakeholders in Europe!
