The Launch of the Building Better Online Portal of Cooperation

We are glad to announce the launch of the Building Better Online Portal of Cooperation!

Its main aim is to develop and reinforce networks through new virtual collaboration spaces stimulating intercultural engagement and creative mindsets among youth workers, local policymakers, artists, and in particular, young people.

The Portal of Cooperation is an online participatory space that local policymakers, youth workers, art educators, cultural managers and NGO practitioners working for youth, and providing them advice, and counselling services can join and acquire information on how they can reach out to and support young people in becoming active and participating in cultural, art and creative activities. The online portal includes various learning resources and materials, tools and methods for the support and outreach of young people, cultural information and information about events and activities that can be used by all those who work with young people and young people with fewer opportunities in the Cultural and Creative Sectors – CCSs. The users can share their experiences, challenges, and solutions through online discussions.

The Building Better Portal of Cooperation is a unique achievement, as there is no other space that focuses on specific target audiences, their interaction and cooperation with the aim of engaging young people in cultural and creative activities and projects. The information and resources are not limited to the project partners’ cities: Dresden, Firenze, Heraklion, Larissa and Nicosia. The Building Better PoC includes learning resources, cultural information, methods and tools developed by the project partner organizations located in the aforementioned cities and by other organisations that are not included in the project consortium and are located all over Europe.

The users of the Building Better Online Portal of Cooperation have the unique opportunity after registering for the online portal, to also upload information such as cultural information about their cities, events and activities that take place in their cities, tools and methods for the support and outreach of young people as well as learning resources and materials that they have developed so that they can better disseminate the results of their projects. To sum up:

1. First you need to register, and then log-in in here: https://building-better.eu/register/
2. After joining the portal, you will find 5 groups: A) Cultural Information, B) Events and Activities, C) Tools & Methods for the support and outreach of young people, C) Tools & Methods for the support and outreach of young people, D) Learning Resources and Materials, and E) Organizations. In these groups you acquire various information, and you have the possibility to interact with the users and share your experiences and opinions through discussions with the members of each group or contact each member individually.
3. You have the possibility to add your cultural activity/event, cultural information about your city, tools and methods for supporting and outreaching young people as well as learning resources and materials to the online portal of cooperation.
